Fighters of Cancer

This is Dan. He is a testicular cancer survivor. Dan was diagnosed with cancer shortly after his eight year old son passed away. Dan fought cancer with 6 hour chemo treatments every day for 4 weeks. The bench Dan is sitting on in this photo is at his son’s school and was dedicated to his son. He finds strength and encouragement through God. The cross he wears starts conversations which provide him an opportunity to share his story and faith.

After my wife was diagnosed with cancer, I was moved to start a portrait series of cancer fighters. You can see the project evolving here. I am currently looking for cancer fighters who are willing to let me take their portrait and share their story.

The process works like this:

  1. You reach out to me using the form below.
  2. We meet somewhere neutral and safe. Let me buy you a cup of coffee!
  3. We chat and arrange your portrait.
  4. We shoot your portrait.
  5. Your portrait and story is featured here as well as future events to raise money to support the fight against cancer.

Are you a fighter and would like to share your story?

I extend the love in my heart, and pray for all cancer fighters.
